A snow plow truck plows and salts a road Friday near Wilson Road and Route 120 in Lake County following snowfall. | Photo: Lake County Passage The National Weather Service has released snowfall totals following the winter storm in Lake and McHenry counties, with Woodstock reporting almost 10 inches of snowfall. A winter storm watch was issued Wednesday morning for Lake, McHenry, Winnebago and Boone counties. The National Weather Service (NWS) later upgraded the four counties to a winter weather advisory.
